Once upon a time there was a pond and by the pond was a berry tree. A monkey lived in that tree. He used to pick sweet berries and eat them every day.
Once, he saw a crocodile resting in that pond which looked tired and hungry. He fell in love with the crocodile and picked some berries to eat.
The crocodile ate the berries and found the berries very tasty and thanked the monkey. Days passed and they became very good friends.
Crocodile always saved some berries and took them to his wife crocodile too. Mrs. crocodile also found the berries very tasty. But the crocodile's wife was an evil crocodile.
She said to her husband crocodile "The berries given by that monkey are so delicious, how much more delicious will his heart be?" I want to eat that monkey's heart anyway."
Hearing this, the crocodile was initially angry but could not say no to his wife's wish.
The next day the crocodile went to the monkey and said: “Monkey friend, you are home with me today. My wife has prepared a very delicious meal for you.” Monkey was also happy to be invited to his friend's house and Jana got ready.
They were half way there and in the thick of gossip, the crocodile told his wife all the plans. Hearing this, the monkey got angry and started thinking how to escape from this crocodile.
The monkey, being clever, said to the crocodile, "Go, your wife wanted my heart, but I forgot my heart and left it in the berry tree." The foolish crocodile found out about the monkey and took the monkey back to the place where the berry plant was.
As soon as he saw the berry plant, the monkey jumped up to the tree. The monkey reached the tree and said to the crocodile, "Who can take out his heart and keep it?" You betrayed my trust. We can never be friends again. After that the crocodile was always lonely and hungry.
Moral of the story:- Never cheat on your friend.
